-Trabajan industriales de la masa y la tortilla sobre estatutos para subsanar esta situación

Hay una sobre oferta de tortillerías en Zamora y Ecuandureo, aunque si bien el producto es el alimento que no puede faltar en la mesa de las familias mexicanas y por lo tanto es muy demandado, esta sobrepoblación no deja de ser preocupante para el gremio de los industriales de la masa y la tortilla.
“Este exceso de establecimientos nos afecta porque los negocios no pueden trabajar sus maquinarias al 100 por ciento, generalmente tenemos los equipos trabajando a un 30 o 40 por ciento de su capacidad y eso hace que no podamos emplear más personas, o a veces despedir a personal, porque las ventas están muy compartidas y obviamente bajas” señaló Porfirio Luna Aguilera, representante de la Unión de Industriales de la Masa y la Tortilla de Zamora.
Indicó que esta agrupación la conforman 190 negocios acentuados en los municipios antes citados. Aquí en Zamora se concentra el mayor número de establecimientos en Atecucario y Ario de Rayón.
Agregó que para subsanar esta situación el gremio ya trabaja sobre algunos estatutos “En nuestro reglamento interno vamos a implementar nuevas normativas: pedir una distancia entre tortillerías de 400 metros, no repartir tortillas en las calles, solamente venderlas en el local y mantener un precio estable y uniforme del producto”.
De igual manera, dijo, solicitan el apoyo de las autoridades para que hagan un estudio socioeconómico, consideren la población que hay y en base a eso autoricen o no más permisos, “esto para que el negocio que se establezca sea rentable y los que ya están no resulten perjudicados, porque de seguir permitiendo negocios sin un previo estudio, lejos de beneficiarnos seguirán golpeando nuestra economía y nosotros queremos estabilidad en el precio de este producto básico, para que también no se vea una merma en el bolsillo de las amas de casa”.
Señaló que por ello, hoy en día, las tortillerías se han convertido en negocios familiares y ya no generan empleos directos “Casi siempre hay un miembro o dos de la familia trabajando para que pueda ser rentable”.
Aseveró finalmente que la tendencia de incremento en estos establecimientos es de mucho tiempo atrás, aunque si bien, dijo que desde hace dos años atrás se ha ido conteniendo un poco la situación “Esto por la mala economía de las familias, porque para habilitar un local de este giro se requiere por lo menos de una inversión de 300 mil pesos y que por ejemplo tengan una ganancia diaria de 150 pesos, pues no les conviene”.
