Fue donada una ambulancia para que el Hospital Regional de Zamora pueda ofrecer servicios a personas con problemas graves de salud. La unidad tuvo un costo de 600 mil pesos que fue cubierto por el Gobierno del Estado, tras gestiones realizadas por las diputadas locales María Eugenia Méndez Dávalos y Rosa Molina Rojas, de las bancadas del PAN y PRI, respectivamente.
La ambulancia cuenta con camilla, desfibrilador, electrocardiograma e instrumental médico para dar atención de terapia intensiva, a ancianos, niños y mujeres a punto de dar a luz, informó María Eugenia Méndez Dávalos, en el marco de la entrega de la unidad vehicular, cuyas llaves fueron otorgadas a Sergio Navarrete Peña, director del Hospital Regional de Zamora.
En ese contexto, Fausto Vallejo Figueroa, gobernador de Michoacán, subrayó que lo más importante de la unidad vehicular es el equipamiento con que cuenta, ya que prácticamente será un quirófano móvil debido a la cantidad de equipo y material que tiene, el cual es de tecnología de punta, “había la posibilidad de traer un vehículo usado importado, pero decidimos no traer chatarra y mejor comprar una unidad nueva, eso si el equipamiento es de lo mejor.
“De esta manera quiero refrendar un compromiso con el Hospital Regional de Zamora (HGZ) al que también vamos a destinar 1 millón de pesos para que continúen con las obras de mejora que permitan elevar la calidad de los servicios de las personas que llegan al nosocomio con problemas de salud”, resaltó el ejecutivo estatal.
María Eugenia Méndez Dávalos, diputada local del VI Distrito de Zamora, dijo que la donación de la ambulancia es una muestra de que se puede trabajar de manera coordinada entre los legisladores y el Gobierno del Estado y dijo que la intención es continuar con la unión de esfuerzos para seguir con la generación de resultados.
Finalmente, Rosa Molina Rojas, diputada plurinominal del PRI, hizo un reconocimiento a la labor de gestión de Kena Méndez ya que durante varios meses insistió en la necesidad de hacer llegar el vehículo al Hospital Regional de Zamora y finalmente logró el objetivo al insistir con las autoridades estatales “por lo que me uní a esa gestión”.
