Ahora sí es definitivo, el nuevo Sistema de Justicia Penal (NSJP) arrancará en Zamora a partir del mes de agosto de 2015. Ya no habrá prórrogas en relación a la aplicación de la medida, ya que las autoridades competentes se han comprometido a acelerar los trabajos de infraestructura y capacitación necesarios para que se pueda aplicar ese método legal.
“Todos debemos estar preparados para asumir con responsabilidad la nueva procuración de justicia y que los tiempos no nos ganen de nueva cuenta, para ello trabajaremos de manera coordinada con los profesionistas y servidores públicos involucrados en el tema para que se alisten y actualicen su metodología de trabajo”, puntualizó Juan Antonio Magaña De La Mora, presidente del Supremo Tribunal de Justicia de Michoacán, en el marco de una conferencia que ofreció en la explanada del Centro Regional de las Artes, para hablar sobre el tema.
Indicó que para las acciones de infraestructura contarán con una asesoría profesional de arquitectos del Estado, que serán los encargados de diseñar las salas de juicio oral, los juzgados de primera instancia con espacios óptimos para que abogados y empleados de las dependencias hagan sus funciones.
No dio a conocer cifras sobre la inversión en infraestructura para la remodelación de edificios, pero dijo que cada uno de los espacios cumplirá con lo que se necesita para que la aplicación del Sistema de Justicia Penal sea eficiente.
El magistrado presidente comentó que los consejeros del Poder Judicial encomendaron los trabajos a los profesionales de arquitectura para que diseñen las salas de juicio oral que han de construirse en la región, además de incluir en el diseño, los juzgados de primera instancia del sistema tradicional civil; con espacios adecuados para el desempeño de las funciones de los trabajadores, y en beneficio también de usuarios y abogados.
Magaña de la Mora exhortó a instituciones académicas a que actualicen sus planes de estudio para incluir la enseñanza del nuevo sistema de justicia penal, y además a los abogados que ya practican en el sistema tradicional, a que se mantengan capacitados en esta nueva forma de impartir justicia, para que estén preparados y llevar a cabo la implementación de la mejor manera. Señaló que además requiere que los periodistas de los medios de comunicación se capaciten, puesto que son el vínculo con la sociedad.
En ese tenor firmó un convenio con el Instituto de Investigaciones Jurídicas del Valle de Zamora, el cual tendrá como objetivo iniciar un proceso de capacitación a los abogados de la localidad para que hagan una aplicación correcta del nuevo sistema de justicia penal que obliga al grupo de profesionistas a actualizarse en el ramo.
En el evento estuvieron presentes, Rosa Hilda Abascal Rodríguez, presidenta municipal de Zamora; Liliana Guadalupe Rosillo, subprocuradora regional; el mayor de infantería Carlos Fortunato López Cobos, en representación del comandante del 17 Batallón de Infantería; y Sergio Flores Navarro, magistrado del Tribunal de Justicia Administrativa, entre otras distinguidas personalidades.
