-Acercarán a productores y agroindustriales proveeduría a bajo costo, esperan derrama económica superior a los 8 mdp

El 10 y 11 de Octubre se desarrollará la cuarta edición de la Expo Agro Berries en las instalaciones de la Unión Agrícola de Freseros. Aunque tendrá impacto internacional, se pretende que se consolide como una expo anual característica de la región, señaló Karime Pineda Sandoval, facilitador del Sistema Producto Fresa Nacional.
Hasta el momento ya han confirmado 60 ponentes de diversas partes de la República Mexicana; así como de Estados Unidos e Italia, quienes abordaran diversos temas, entre estos: control biológico, impacto ambiental, daño ecológico ambiental, saneamiento del Rio Duero, control agroecológico de plagas (araña roja) y enfermedades, nutrición de tierra, inocuidad, innovación agrícola, entre otros temas.
Por vez primera se contará con la participación de cocineras tradicionales, quienes elaboraran diversos platillos regionales con esta frutilla emblemática de la zona. De igual forma habrá un taller dirigido a mujeres para que se les instruya a dar valor agregado a este producto agrícola. De tal suerte que aprenderán a elaborar licores, dulces, ates, mermeladas.
Los organizadores esperan la asistencia de 2 mil personas diarias, desde productores, proveedores, agroindustriales, investigadores así como instancias gubernamentales y asociaciones: SADER, SEDRUA, delegación de turismo Lerma- Chapala, Greenpeace, entre otras.
“La intención de esta expo es acercarle a los productores proveeduría de calidad y a bajo precio de primera mano, de esa manera evitar al intermediario y que conozcan las nuevas tecnologías para su cultivo. Por tanto el evento contempla expo venta de maquinaria, de químicos, orgánicos, básculas, así como servicio de laboratorios, de asesoría de capacitación, de préstamos para los productores y todo aquello que el productor y agroindustrial requieran”, finalizó. El año pasado se tuvo una derrama económica de 8mdp. Este año pretenden superarla.
