-Empresas de Estados Unidos ya comienzan a exigir requisito para mantener la exportación agrícola

Buscarán acrecentar la cantidad de trabajadores del campo para que se afilien al régimen ofrecido por el Instituto Mexicano del Seguro Social (IMSS). Actualmente hay alrededor de 36 mil jornaleros que ya se encuentran inscritos; sin embargo, se considera que pueden ser más con las opciones y esquemas ofrecidos por la institución de seguridad social.
Así lo dio a conocer Miguel Amezcua Alejo, subdelegado del IMSS en la región Zamora, comentó que en esta parte de la entidad existen 122 mil cotizantes, de manera que al incrementar el número de afiliados que se dedica a las labores del campo se puede dar un valor agregado a la actividad, porque de esa manera se pueden brindar garantías de una calidad en todos los procesos de productividad.
“De hecho todas las empresas dedicadas a la agricultura deben cumplir con ese requisito para poder realizar los procesos de exportación y por ello es que se pretende que puedan considerar esta opción de afiliación porque incluso aquellos trabajadores con 15 años de edad pueden hacer este proceso con un permiso otorgado por los padres de familia para evitar que incurran en alguna omisión ante la Secretaría del Trabajo y Previsión Social y el IMSS”, dijo.
Comentó que las mismas empresas de los Estados Unidos que reciben productos, como las berries, es una exigencia que solicitan a quienes exportan en vísperas de encontrar calidad en todo el proceso productivo, pero también para generar una sana competitividad. Actualmente la base de afiliados del campo representa el 32 por ciento de la población económicamente activa de la región; sin embargo, con los nuevos esquemas ofertados por el IMSS esperan incrementar esos números.
“Hoy en día cualquier persona tiene la facilidad de ser ingresado en el régimen de seguridad social, pero también depende de la voluntad de la parte patronal porque hay quienes dejan de pagar las cuotas o aportaciones correspondientes y se retiran los derechos de salud a los colaboradores, de manera que es una problemática que se debe atender de manera consciente y responsable para no cometer omisiones”, finalizó.
