Dentro del programa FOPEDARIE (Fondo de Pavimentación, Espacios Deportivos, Alumbrado Público y Rehabilitación de Infraestructura Deportiva), están por finalizar los trabajos de pavimentación del Paseo La Yerbabuena (Camino real o Prolongación Aldama), donde se colocan a base de concreto hidráulico, 9,173 metros cuadrados, en las áreas comprendidas entre la calle Dr. Enrique Sahagún Cortés (Avenida Hospital) en el norte y calle San José en La Yerbabuena en el sur y de esta hasta la Avenida del Bosque en Camino Real en el norte, con una inversión de nueve millones de pesos.
En el tramo comprendido entre la calle Jacarandas y la San José en la comunidad de La Yerbabuena, el camino habrá de dividirse en dos cuerpos separados por un camellón de dos metros de ancho y de la calle Jacarandas hasta las avenidas del Bosque y Dr. Enrique Sahagún Cortés, son cuerpos separados por el canal pluvial que lo recorre, en el tramo de éste comprendido entre la avenida Dr. Enrique Sahagún Cortés (Avenida Hospital) y Jacarandas, en la parte poniente se levantó un muro de contención con la finalidad de sostener el pavimento que se colocará en dicho tramo.
En cuanto a la iluminación se refiere se vienen colocando las luminarias a lo largo de esta avenida y que sumados a los trabajos que próximamente darán inicio en la misma del parque lineal, harán del Paseo La Yerbabuena la mejor avenida interna con la que contará la ciudad.(s)
