– SAPAZ proyecta beneficiar a 16 mil usuarios para este año

Habrá en total 28 millones de pesos (mpd) para la ejecución de obras de infraestructura hídrica en la calzada Zamora – Jacona, en la calle Dr. Verduzco, en la colonia Altamira y otra en la 20 de noviembre, con la finalidad de continuar con la solución a problemas de encharcamientos o inundaciones en la zona urbana.
Otros proyectos son la corrección del acueducto para abastecer al sur de la ciudad y otra en El Campanario.
Joel Romero Quiroz, director del Sistema de Agua Potable y Alcantarillado de Zamora (SAPAZ), informó que con las obras se beneficiarán 16 mil personas este año, pero se estima continuar con la inercia de resultados para 2024 y que esa visión de acciones se pueda extender hasta el año 2027 con proyectos debidamente planeados.
Aseguró que al final la apuesta en materia de infraestructura hídrica muestra resultados importantes, porque gracias a la operatividad de cárcamos y líneas de drenaje sanitario y pluvial, hoy se pueden resolver encharcamientos importantes en tan solo 60 minutos de 9 horas que se tardaban con anterioridad en lugares como la colonia Ramírez, Valencia y otros de la zona norponiente.
Concluyó que con las labores ejecutadas durante el año pasado pudieron beneficiar alrededor de 75 mil personas de 100 mil que tenían problemáticas de encharcamientos que no solo generaban pérdidas materiales en sus hogares sino también el hecho de que se expusieran a enfermedades como consecuencia del estancamiento de aguas residuales en esos puntos.
