– Derechohabientes cansados de esperar meses para consultas, análisis o intervenciones quirúrgicas

Carencias y rezago en la prestación de servicios de medicina en instituciones públicas es la causa principal por la que existe un éxodo de derechohabientes que prefieren hacer un esfuerzo económico para recibir atención del sector privado, derivado de que la espera en diferentes procesos como consultas, estudios e intervenciones quirúrgicas, de vital importancia para su salud, deben esperar.
Así lo dieron a conocer los médicos Rubén Alfaro y Ramiro Espinoza, abordados por EL INDEPENDIENTE TV, quienes coincidieron en que pasó de 43 a 49 por ciento la gente o derechohabientes del IMSS e ISSSTE que optan por los servicios médicos privados, ante la imposibilidad de tener un servicio eficiente en el sector público y garantizar un beneficio y no un perjuicio para su estado físico.
Comentaron que hay un problema fuerte en los nosocomios públicos, porque las consultas de especialistas se han convertido en prácticamente inalcanzables para las personas que van en búsqueda de atención médica y se debe a que deben esperar meses para que se abra un espacio ante la importante demanda de servicios y falta de presupuesto en el sector, porque es una realidad que ha crecido el número de afiliaciones.
Finalmente agregaron que más grave es cuando los pacientes están en un estado de salud deplorable y en ocasiones llegan hasta a fallecer sin poder recibir la atención respectiva aun cuando es una necesidad, pero descartaron que se trate de una falta de voluntad de los médicos; el problema está basado en que los sistemas se encuentran sobresaturados y en consecuencia las listas de espera son más largas.
