-Se estima que poco más de la mitad de contagiados muere en casa

La desinformación ha sido una de las causas principales en el aumento de la mortandad y el número de contagios por COVID como lo confirman los 30 mil decesos registrados en el país durante el mes de enero y que se presume no han disminuido durante los primeros días de febrero al registrarse muertes diarias, incluso a nivel de Zamora.
“La cantidad de fallecimientos no se ve a grandes números en las cifras oficiales porque son menos los casos reportados que los que realmente ocurren entre la población; incluso el INEGI ha estimado que podrían ser 30 mil difuntos más a los que están registrados actualmente y es un panorama complejo”, coincidieron los médicos Ramiro Espinoza y Rubén Alfaro, en el programa “Punto de Vista Médico” realizado en EL INDEPENDIENTE TV.
Por su parte, el doctor Carlos Miguel González Valencia informó que hay diagnósticos que señalan que al menos 53 por ciento de las personas contagiadas por COVID 19 fallecen en sus hogares como consecuencia de que no son llevados a los hospitales por sus familiares para recibir atención en los nosocomios.
Finalmente el médico Juan Manuel Cortés Ceja dijo que mucha gente ha centrado su esperanza en la vacuna contra el COVID, pero reconoció que es un panorama sumamente complejo para que se pueda proteger a la totalidad de la población por la mala estrategia diseñada para la aplicación de dosis.
“Tendría que mantenerse al menos la aplicación de 10 millones de vacunas por mes para alcanzar a proteger a la población, pero cuando se tienen registros de mil a mil 500 dosis diarias aplicadas se ve lejana la solución. Un dato de la incongruencia es que no se determine cubrir totalmente al personal de salud y si a los docentes que no van a clases presenciales actualmente”, finalizó.
