Para todos aquellos jaconenses que lo requieran, la dirección municipal de salud en este municipio ofrece medicamentos y consultas médicas gratuitas.
No es necesario presentar receta médica, informó el titular de la dependencia, Abraham Camargo Ruíz.
De igual forma se puso en marcha un centro de acopio al interior de esta dirección para recaudar el medicamento que la población pueda donar, siempre y cuando no esté caducado, “invitamos a las personas para que nos hagan llegar ese producto que ya no van a utilizar, de esa forma vamos a diversificar y ampliar la gama de medicinas que ofrecemos en un horario de 9 am a 3 pm”.
Mencionó que los medicamentos que más demanda la gente son los analgésicos (para dolor e inflamación), antipiréticos (para fiebre) y antibióticos (infecciones bacterianas), “también los más solicitados son para el control de las enfermedades crónico degenerativas, ante el aumento de la diabetes y la hipertensión arterial entre las personas”.
Indicó que el hecho de que la población done los medicamentos que ya no requiere, también es una manera de prevenir un daño por automedicación o intencional que puede llegar hasta un suicidio, «hay personas que ante una depresión pueden tomar una mala decisión e incurrir en una sobredosis. Por ello no es bueno acumular estos».
Actualmente tiene disponibles medicamentos contra el colesterol, la hipertensión y para control de la diabetes, así como los ya señalados. También reciben sobres de vida suero oral, tan necesarios en esta temporada de calor.
