– Ayuntamiento municipal fortalece la inclusión

Al conmemorarse hoy el día nacional de las personas sordas, Mariela Cabrera Arias, regidora de salud y grupos vulnerables, señaló que a la brevedad se tendrá la primera graduación del nivel medio superior de personas sordas, quienes egresarán del Colegio de Bachilleres del Estado de Michoacán (COBAEM), plantel Jacona.
Esto derivado de un convenio que signó el ayuntamiento municipal, a través del alcalde Isidoro Mosqueda, con autoridades de esta institución para que este sector pudiera cursar la preparatoria, » la presidencia paga los gastos del interprete y el colegio de bachilleres aporta el resto del capital humano: una serie de docentes que forman parte de este proyecto, quienes garantizan las diversas asignaturas de dicho nivel educativo».
«El intérprete apoya la labor de los docentes, ayudando en cada clase de las diversas asignaturas. Se trata de un proyecto muy exitoso, ya que los 10 jóvenes de 16 a 18 años que van a egresar en esta primera generación se les dará la certificación para que puedan continuar sus estudios universitarios».
Cabrera Arias reveló que otro de los proyectos en beneficio de este sector es el denominado «Eliminando barreras de comunicación», «se trata de un taller que se lleva a cabo todos los lunes en el Museo Plancartino, consta de dos módulos: uno dirigido a personas oyentes, a efecto de que aprendan la lengua de señas mexicanas y puedan comunicarse con la comunidad de sordos. A través de este, se está impactando a 30 personas: jóvenes y adultos».
Y en el otro módulo, concluyó, están las personas sordas que siguen yendo a clases para reforzar los conocimientos de esta lengua de señas, “el taller implica un costo de recuperación, recurso con el cual, adquieren aparatos auditivos para beneficiar a las personas hipo acusicas. Por lo que en este ayuntamiento municipal nos hemos preocupado por fortalecer la inclusión».
