– Acciones serán controladas y con compromiso de cuidarlos para garantizar su crecimiento

Están listos 28 mil árboles para que puedan ser forestados en diferentes puntos del municipio.
Las acciones serán controladas porque se otorgarán únicamente a aquellas personas que realmente generen compromisos para cuidarlos y que de esa manera se garantice su crecimiento en cualquier punto del municipio que sea idóneo para el proceso.
Haydee Alfaro Sánchez, directora de protección animal y ecología, puntualizó que no se otorgarán árboles sin una justificación importante para las acciones de arborización porque se trata de que se puedan entregar a personas que se dediquen a vigilar que tengan un crecimiento hasta que sean capaces de subsistir de manera natural.
Comentó que el periodo mínimo para garantizar que el árbol crezca en la zona urbana es de 1 año y 6 meses. Después de ese tiempo lo único que se debe verificar es que no sean objeto de vandalismo por parte de las personas para que se pueda dar su proceso de crecimiento y que de esta manera el municipio pueda fortalecerse en lo que respecta a los pulmones verdes.
Indicó que a partir de los próximos días implementarán la campaña “Adopta un Árbol” con la que se pretende generar las condiciones para que las personas se hagan responsables de las especies que soliciten para acciones de arborización porque no es correcto que se planten y que después del acto alguien se haga responsable de verificar que si puedan crecer.
“Tenemos como estadística que solo el 50 por ciento de los árboles forestados se llegan a dar en las zonas usadas para dicho fin y la intención es que si se pueda generar un crecimiento adecuado de lo que se pide. Al final tiene que haber esa corresponsabilidad entre nosotros como responsables de esta parte del medio ambiente y los ciudadanos”, concluyó.
