Están por concluir la construcción del cárcamo de bombeo ubicado casi en el par vial 20 de noviembre.
El Ayuntamiento invirtió 900 mil pesos en los trabajos que permitirán evitar inundaciones o encharcamientos en la zona nororiente del municipio. El impacto directo será para alrededor de 6 mil 500 personas asentadas en ese punto de la ciudad que durante muchos años han sufrido con las precipitaciones pluviales.
Al respecto, Joel Romero Quiroz, director del Sistema de Agua Potable y Alcantarillado de Zamora (SAPAZ), informó que los trabajos presentan un 80 por ciento de avance y espera que en las próximas semanas queden concluidos para poner en funciones y mitigar el impacto de las precipitaciones pluviales en las familias asentadas en este lugar, que durante mucho tiempo hicieron esa petición.
Indicó que durante mucho tiempo fue uno de los trabajos que fue demandado por los habitantes de esta zona del municipio y pese a que no representó un costo importante, no se entiende el por qué otras administraciones municipales desistieron de hacerlo ya que es una acción necesaria para evitar que muchas familias tengan pérdidas económicas y materiales en sus hogares como consecuencia de las lluvias.
Concluyó al decir que estos son los proyectos a los que siempre se apostó porque la infraestructura hídrica es necesaria más que una calle con la que se pueda tener un relumbrón. Al final se trata de pensar en lo que realmente deja un beneficio a la población y que perdure en lo que respecta al impacto de este para que las actuales y futuras generaciones lo puedan gozar.
