Fue prolongada la presentación del Reglamento de Tránsito hasta el año entrante, debido a que la intención es regular las condiciones de movilidad urbana y se pueda proceder con la difusión efectiva de la actualización de las normas para la circulación entre la población y que no haya deficiencias en su aplicación.
Así lo dio a conocer Santiago Morales Ceja, coordinador municipal de tránsito, quien comentó que la primera etapa de difusión del reglamento será a través de la Dirección de Comunicación Social para promover entre la población los puntos más sobresalientes del documento a través de distintos medios.
“La segunda parte será por medio del otorgamiento de folletos o copias del reglamento entre la población para que se refuerce el respeto a las normas de movilidad dirigidas a motociclistas y conductores de vehículos”, explicó.
Comentó que se dará un periodo de gracia para que no se apliquen sanciones a los conductores en el caso de infringir alguna de las nuevas normas porque la intención es educar a las personas antes que se pueda proceder de otra manera. Van a implementar diferentes estrategias para que la gente tome conciencia del reglamento.
Finalmente agregó que el reglamento no obedece a ningún interés personal porque para la conformación del documento, que ya fue aprobado en Cabildo, se tomaron en consideración las propuestas de diferentes sectores o grupos organizados que están relacionados con la movilidad urbana por lo que no es un documento unilateral.
