• Parque Nacional Lago de Camécuaro se suma a la preservación y da una aportación histórica
• Esperan sea un año crítico, hasta el momento sólo se ha combatido un incendio en el municipio: COFOM
31 de marzo de 2022, Tangancícuaro Mich.- Para prevenir y combatir los incendios forestales en el municipio, el Gobierno de Tangancícuaro, a través del ejecutivo, firmó el convenio de colaboración y participación con la Comisión Forestal del Estado de Michoacán (COFOM); el convenio es tripartito, pero se le sumó un cuarto colaborador, el Parque Nacional Lago de Camécuaro, que por primera vez y de manera histórica aportó para la conservación de las zonas forestales.
El presidente municipal, Dr. David Melgoza Montañez, detalló que el municipio se compromete a pagar lo corresponde en base al plan de contención y el Parque Nacional Lago de Camécuaro aportará poco un recurso adicional para otras necesidades; al respecto el Ing. Leonardo Bautista Fernández, director del Parque, detalló que por primera vez desde que se tiene registro el parque dará una aportación económica. “Esto es gracias al manejo honesto y trasparente de las finanzas, los recursos que se obtiene de los visitantes nos han permitido apoyar en materia de educación salud y preservación como es este caso, y rehabilitar el parque», indicó.
La Dirección de Ecología del gobierno municipal fue la encargada de gestionar para que todos los involucrados se sumarán a la conformación de la brigada, desde quienes aportan de manera económica, hasta quienes ponen el equipamiento, las capacitaciones y el personal humano.
El convenio y los trabajos preventivos inician partir de este 1ero. de abril, y la brigada tendrá como sede la comunidad indígena de Patamban, pero servirá de apoyo en caso de requerirse a otras regiones explicó Cesar Molina Bartolo, delegado de la COFOM en la región Lerma Chapala.
