En aras de crear conciencia y fomentar la buena alimentación en el sector infantil, el Sistema para el Desarrollo Integral de la Familia, a través del departamento de nutrición, está realizando una serie de charlas en escuelas primarias y Jardín de niños del municipio, dirigidas a los padres de familia.
El maestro en salud pública y nutriólogo del DIF Jacona, Rubén Álvarez Lomelí, fue el encargado de impartir la plática en la cual se trataron temas como desnutrición, obesidad, alimentos altos en grasa, plato del buen comer y recomendaciones para mantener un peso adecuado en los niños, además, se sugirió la práctica del deporte y la disminución bebidas altas en azúcar.
Álvarez Lomelí, comentó que “se han realizado estudios en los cuales se ha detectado que el estado de obesidad comienza en la educación primaria, por ello, se pondrá mayor énfasis en los padres de los preescolares y primarias, la idea es fomentar la sana alimentación desde temprana edad y un factor fundamental para ello son los padres”.
Alrededor de 25 padres de familia asistieron a esta charla donde se despejaron dudas y se les invitó acudir al DIF para obtener una mejor canalización si desean cambiar los malos hábitos alimenticios de la familia.
