– Será en la Casa de la Cultura del Valle de Zamora, contempla fotografías en formato mediano

El próximo jueves 22 de junio a las 8 pm se inaugurará en la sala Francisco Castillo Cervantes de la Casa de Cultura del Valle de Zamora (CCVZ) la exposición fotográfica «Adivinación y medicina tradicional en pueblos de Oaxaca».
Contempla 10 fotografías en formato mediano capturadas por el historiador, fotógrafo y etnógrafo Víctor Gayol, actualmente profesor e investigador del Colegio de Michoacán (Colmich), informó Karla González Díaz, Directora de la CCVZ.
Detalló que estas imágenes fueron captadas en los pueblos de San Felipe Usila, Valle Nacional y San Juan Guichicovi, todos ubicados en la tierra de la Guelaguetza, en Oaxaca. Todas estas imágenes son en blanco y negro. La exposición tendrá permanencia durante un mes, el acceso es gratuito.
Destacó la trascendencia de esta muestra, «nos acerca de una manera integral, no sólo al arte fotográfico, sino que además hay un trabajo de investigación explicito, ya que se trata de fotografía documental.
Por lo que más allá de las cuestiones técnicas y estéticas que implica el arte de la fotografía, aborda la tradición de los pueblos originarios. Por lo que va conjugada la belleza y la composición con un tema documentado.
«En el discurso de la exposición de la obra, Víctor nos cuenta como la adivinación es una característica generalizada en todos los pueblos de México, como arte de la medicina tradicional, es decir, van de la mano totalmente».
Cabe señalar que Gayol es originario de la Ciudad de México, estudió en la Escuela Nacional de Antropología e Historia y en el Colmich. Desde la década de 1980 recorrió varias regiones de México, haciendo registro fotográfico de pueblos originarios.
