– Durante el año pasado se registraron mil 200; es motivo de refuerzo de señalética

Los incidentes de Tránsito en donde se ven involucrados motociclistas, se elevaron en los últimos días atribuidos al exceso de velocidad y malas prácticas como un mayor número de ocupantes a bordo de la unidad y el hecho de que conduzcan en zigzag entre los carriles.
La Dirección de Movilidad y el cuerpo de Tránsito Municipal han establecido una coordinación para atender la problemática vial en la localidad y con ello evitar afectaciones a las personas.
Rosendo Farfán Cázares, director de movilidad, informó que durante el año pasado hubo un registro de mil 200 accidentes de Tránsito, en los que una gran parte fue de motociclistas. La situación es un motivo de refuerzo de la señalética colocada en diferentes puntos de la zona urbana, principalmente, aquellos lugares considerados como conflictivos.
El crucero considerado como principal foco rojo actualmente en la zona urbana es el de Madero y Leonardo Castellanos, donde hay registro de 70 accidentes durante el año pasado. Otro es el que se ubica en el ingreso al Nuevo Mercado Hidalgo y la carretera Zamora – Morelia, frente a la Central Camionera, seguido de Ferrocarril y Madero.
“A la brevedad se tendrán que intervenir para ver qué podemos hacer para reducir la cantidad de incidentes viales y que de esa manera no haya conflicto alguno. Ya tenemos un mapeo de la ciudad en lo que respecta a esta temática y vamos a señalizar de una manera importante esos puntos porque consideramos que es una medida para generar conciencia y que de esa manera haya menores incidentes viales en dichos lugares”, mencionó.
Concluyó que al no existir posibilidades de poder construir ciclovías en el primer cuadro de la ciudad, al menos se busca como opción el hecho de que se puedan balizar las calles con la finalidad de aligerar el tráfico y haya un respeto de la denominada Zona 30, en donde se buscar proteger a los ciclistas en la movilidad urbana.
