El Instituto Nacional Electoral (INE) promueve el taller de formación política y derechos humanos para mujeres lesbianas, bisexuales y trans que inició este 23 y continuará 24 de febrero y viernes 8 y sábado 9 de marzo en las instalaciones de la junta distrital 05 ubicadas en Prolongación 5 de mayo 33, colonia Centro.
El horario de los viernes es de 4 a 8 pm y los sábados de 10 am a 2 pm.
Lo imparte la organización civil «Responde diversidad», a través de este taller se pretende fomentar la participación de las mujeres de la comunidad LGBT y su inclusión dentro de los temas políticos, señaló Alondra Torres Blass, vocal de capacitación electoral y educación cívica de la junta distrital 05 del INE, “tendremos temas como: mujeres LGBT con interés en participar en la formación ciudadana y asuntos públicos; militantes en instituciones políticas, candidatos y cargos de elección, protocolos para atención a las víctimas de violencia, discriminación y otras violaciones a los derechos humanos».
Señaló que dentro de la comunidad LGBT las mujeres son las menos visibilizadas, «por lo que se pretende que ellas ocupen los espacios y se acerquen a la política. Estas capacitaciones se derivan del Programa nacional de impulso a la participación política de mujeres, a través de organizaciones de mujeres de la sociedad civil, mediante una convocatoria emitida por el INE en 2023, a través del cual fueron seleccionados 56 proyectos de organizaciones civiles en toda la República Mexicana”.
Con lo anterior, concluyó, se busca que las mujeres aprendan a ejercer sus derechos políticos- electorales. Y precisamente la organización citada es una de las seleccionadas. El taller también se impartió en Morelia, Uruapan y Lázaro Cárdenas. A la brevedad será en Zitácuaro.
