En materia de salud el gobierno federal le ha cumplido a Michoacán, aseguró Julio César González, delegado en Michoacán del IMSS ya que, dijo, la inversión realizada en el tema de la infraestructura es la mayor que se ha hecho en 30 años.
Lo anterior fue señalado previo a la inauguración formal de las jornadas de cirugía pediátrica en el hospital IMSS-Oportunidades en el municipio de Villamar en el que a lo largo de estos días se realizarán cerca de 200 cirugías.
“Se dio la inversión en infraestructura que no se había dado en 30 años, son más de 2 mil millones de pesos los que invirtió el Seguro Social en Michoacán, inversión sin precedente en los últimos años”.
Sin embargo, el delegado en esta entidad del IMSS reconoció que quedan aún pendientes por terminar como las ampliaciones en los hospitales de Uruapan, Zamora, Apatzingán y la reubicación de la Unidad de Medicina Familiar 76 de Uruapan.
Es de destacar que en su momento se señaló a Julio César González como uno de los aspirantes a la dirigencia en Michoacán del Partido Acción Nacional, cuestionado al respecto, señaló que en base a una decisión madurada decidió priorizar la culminación de esta administración federal al frente de la delegación en esta entidad y culminar el proceso de entrega del hospital general regional número 1 en la capital michoacana.
En lo que hace a las jornadas de cirugía pediátrica que se realizan en el hospital de la tenencia de Emiliano Zapata, el titular nacional del programa IMSS-Oportunidades, Israel Gallardo Sevilla, señaló que para éstas se concentró en esta localidad a los mejores especialistas a nivel nacional de este esquema de seguridad social.
“Ahorita traemos un padrón de poquito más de 200 niños que se van a operar en estos días hasta el miércoles y vamos a tratar de que se opere a todos porque a veces es complicado porque depende del tiempo que tome cada cirugía”.
Adicional a las 130 personas que laboran en este hospital, Gallardo Sevilla señaló que para estas jornadas de cirugía se destinaron otras cincuenta personas más la movilización de tráileres con equipo de diagnóstico.
