– Detectó IMSS a nivel nacional en contingencias que suceden en empresas, como caídas, resbalones, torceduras

«El Instituto Mexicano del Seguro Social (IMSS) detectó a nivel nacional que el mayor riesgo de accidentes en las empresas se concentra en las manos y tobillos de los trabajadores, debido a percances como caídas, resbalones y torceduras», señaló Iván Omar Bedolla Bernal, especialista en seguridad y salud en el trabajo del IMSS, zona Zamora.
Dijo que esto obedece a falta de normativa, a que las comisiones mixtas de seguridad e higiene a veces son únicamente de escritorio, no hacen los recorridos de supervisión como se debe, “nosotros orientamos y asesoramos a las empresas en diferentes tipos de actividades, desde asesorías en sus actas constitutivas y programas anuales en base a la NOM 019 de la Secretaria del Trabajo y Previsión Social (STyPS)».
Mencionó que el departamento a su cargo asesora a las empresas de manera gratuita, con el objetivo de apoyar a mejorar y reducir sus riesgos laborales. A pregusta expresa de que en esta zona cuantas incapacidades reportan las empresas por los riegos citados en manos y tobillos, contesto: «es difícil saber el porcentual, porque a nuestro departamento ya no nos envían dicha información».
Sin embargo, finalizó, un 70 por ciento es la accidentalidad en los tobillos o manos de los trabajadores. Y el otro porcentaje está enfocado en los trastornos musculo esqueléticos, ya sea por no tomar buenas posturas, cargas manuales o movimientos repetitivos que se tienen en los diferentes puestos de trabajo de las empresas.
