Más de 500 familias de lugares como Ario de Rayón, Primero de Mayo, Carmen Serdán y Jacinto López pidieron la instalación de servicios públicos municipales, mejora de calles y dotación de alumbrado, debido que se encuentran en condiciones deplorables que afectan su estancia de vida en sus lugares de residencia.
Lo anterior fue ocasión para que representantes de las colonias arriba citadas acudieran a la Presidencia Municipal para solicitar nuevamente una entrevista con el alcalde, Martín Samaguey Cárdenas, y finalmente exponer sus peticiones que hasta la fecha no han recibido respuesta del Ayuntamiento.
Javier Del Río Alonso, dirigente regional del movimiento Antorcha Campesina, aseguró que esperan que el presidente municipal finalmente pueda cumplir con compromisos que el mandatario hizo desde principios de campaña para resolver lo planteado, “aún tenemos confianza en que dé respuesta a nuestro pliego petitorio”.
Las peticiones principales consisten en el mejoramiento de calles en la colonia Carmen Serdán, la dotación de agua potable en la colonia Jacinto López y alumbrado público en La Calera de Ario de Rayón, debido a que carecen de condiciones de seguridad las familias asentadas en ese lugar y se requiere como un elemento para mejorar la visibilidad nocturna.
Finalmente agregó que el lunes de la semana entrante esperarán a que el presidente municipal por fin tenga una respuesta a las peticiones presentadas por los vecinos, porque la última intención es hacer una movilización masiva; sin embargo, dependerá de la intención de las autoridades correspondientes antes de tomar esa decisión.
