– Zonas de mayor riesgo ya están concluidas; piden a no población no tirar basura en afluentes

Más del 50 por de avance presenta el programa de limpieza de drenes y canales en la localidad. Se estima que en el lapso de 2 meses se puedan concluir las labores. Los puntos que ya fueron desazolvados son aquellos que representan un riesgo importante, como son el Río Duero, DREN A, Rinconada, Partidas, Palo Blanco.
Así lo dio a conocer Joel Romero Quiroz, director del Sistema de Agua Potable y Alcantarillado de Zamora (SAPAZ), comentó que las acciones iniciaron desde febrero con la finalidad de evitar que haya algún desbordamiento de un afluente durante esta temporada en la que se ha intensificado el desarrollo de precipitaciones pluviales.
“Tenemos contemplado que haya lluvia con intensidad desde esta segunda quincena de julio hasta la primera de septiembre, que para nosotros podría ser la de mayor riesgo, porque es cuando se incrementa el agua que viene de desfogue desde la zona de la Cañada de los Once Pueblos y en consecuencia debemos estar preparados para que no nos perjudique la cantidad de líquido”, dijo.
Finalmente, externó que, al igual que con la limpieza al 100 por ciento de las 4 mil 200 bocatormentas y alcantarillas, es indispensable que la población no tire desperdicios hacia la zona que ya fue desazolvada por el SAPAZ y los módulos de riego porque de lo contrario se pueden ocasionar taponamientos en los afluentes que impidan el hecho de que el líquido fluya con facilidad hacia el poniente del municipio.
