– Se ha exagerado presencia del insecto; siempre está presente en lugares calurosos

Recomiendan hacer limpieza constante y de rutina en los hogares para evitar un brote de chinches y que la población pueda resultar perjudicada por la presencia del insecto que busca lugares calurosos para hacerse presente y no propiamente porque haya una sobrepoblación del insecto o que se encuentre fuera de control.
Al respecto, los médicos Juan Manuel Cortés Ceja y Ramiro Espinoza Zamora, informaron a EL INDEPENDIENTE TV que es importante que la población haga el cambio constante de sabanas, revise marquesinas o esquinas de muebles, que es donde acostumbran a anidarse, pero lo más importante es que la limpieza sea una acción permanente, más allá de colocar insecticidas que bien pueden no funcionar porque el animal ya se adaptó a ellos.
Comentaron que, si bien en algunos lugares en México, concretamente en las aulas de la UNAM e incluso en otros países como Francia y de la Unión Europea en general, hay temor por la presencia de chinches, no es una situación que debe alarmar, ya que es un insecto que ha evolucionado como otros, pero si la gente tiene los cuidados, debidos se puede controlar la situación y más porque no es una variante relacionada con la que transmite la enfermedad de Chagas.
Finalmente agregaron que lo más recomendable para evitar la presencia de chinches es el uso de planchas verticales o pistolas para sanitizar, en el caso de que se detecten en el hogar; sin embargo, insistieron en la prevención como herramienta más importante para evitar cualquier brote del insecto que se mantiene vivo por la sangre que obtiene del ser humano.
