– Cerraron el año pasado con 50 reportes; quieren evitar riesgos a la población

Autoridades de protección civil hacen un exhorto a los agricultores para que desistan de la quema de pastizales de manera inconsciente, derivado de que se puede poner en riesgo a la población porque son eventos que en ocasiones no son controlados y además de poner en entredicho la integridad física, también generan contaminación del medio ambiente.
Así lo dio a conocer Daniel Martínez Mora, coordinador municipal de protección civil, comentó que durante el último bimestre de 2023 cerraron con alrededor de 50 reportes que atender al respecto derivado de la práctica que llegan a hacer los agricultores para preparar la tierra de cara a sus próximos cultivos o sembradíos.
Comentó que a partir de diciembre es más factible llevar a cabo la quema de pastizales derivado de que los productores ven que la maleza se encuentra más seca y con mayor facilidad se hace el proceso de combustión para proceder con la práctica que no les implica gastar recursos para preparar la tierra.
“Lo ideal sería que se pudieran acercar a expertos en la materia para buscar hacer las quemas controladas y más en aquellos lugares que están pegados a la zona urbana porque es una realidad que allí es donde es mayor el peligro por la cercanía con la población que vive en zonas habitacionales”, finalizó.
