– Buscan involucrar a diversos sectores sociales

El próximo 3 de octubre de 10 am a 8pm se realizará un foro ambiental en un espacio aún por definir, aunque tentativamente se perfila el Centro Regional de las Artes de Michoacán (CRAM).
«Este foro tiene como objetivo difundir y comprometer nuestra acción y generar estrategias que mitiguen las problemáticas ambientales que se viven en Zamora y la región», informó Adela Espinoza Díaz, ambientalista.
Indicó que este foro lo organiza la Diocésis de Zamora, en conjunto con varios entes sociales, desde ambientalistas, asociaciones civiles, sector educativo, investigadores, estudiantes, agricultores, religiosos, autoridades municipales y todos los ciudadanos que se quieran unir a salvar el ambiente.
Señaló que abordarán temas de suma importancia, como el saneamiento del agua, abuso de los productos químicos en el campo, reciclaje, separación de residuos sólidos y manejo adecuado del desperdicio de mangos.
“Tenemos que concienciar a los estudiantes y población en general para que eviten tirar basura en los mantos freáticos, a generar una cultura del reciclaje, a cuidar su entorno. A los agricultores, a utilizar fertilizantes orgánicos que además de que les generan mejores rendimientos en el campo, son menos dañinos para la salud y el medio ambiente”, subrayó.
Por otro lado, a los agro-industriales a garantizar un destino final apropiado de sus desechos sólidos; a las escuelas a generar practicas sustentables de separación de desechos, evitar el uso de vasos y platos de unicel; a generar acciones de reforestación, etc.
“Ante el cambio climático que experimentamos hoy, más que nunca debemos unirnos y recapacitar para salvar la madre naturaleza”, mencionó.
Dijo que en este foro se establecerán algunas mesas de trabajo para generar estrategias o proyectos de impacto ambiental y de motivación, para que los jóvenes hagan trabajo de campo. Participarán algunos ponentes de instituciones de investigación.
Citó que entre los principales problemas ambientales que enfrenta la región, destacan: falta de saneamiento en las aguas, tala inmoderada de árboles, basura en algunas colonias, tiraderos de desperdicios de mango que generan lixiviados, por citar algunos.
