– Son causa de incendios en este temporal decembrino; la intención es evitar incidentes graves

Con motivo del incremento en consumo de energía eléctrica en esta temporada, fue recomendado a los padres de familia revisar las instalaciones eléctricas en la colocación de adornos navideños, debido a que suele ser una de las causas de accidentes durante el fin de año, especialmente, cuando se coloca una cantidad importante de luces en el interior de las viviendas que es donde se suele expandir el fuego.
Daniel Martínez Mora, coordinador municipal de protección civil, puntualizó que es una situación que se debe verificar de manera importante porque hay situaciones en donde se generan los incendios y se llega a perjudicar a algún integrante de las familias derivado de las quemaduras a las que se llegan a exponer porque se llegan a salir de control las quemas.
“De allí que la prevención se convierte en una herramienta vital porque puede significar salvar o no vidas en la actualidad. Es bueno que las familias vivan sus tradiciones, pero se debe tener cuidado con las acciones para evitar que una festividad se convierta en una tragedia a causa de una pérdida humana o material”, mencionó.
Finalmente agregó que si van a salir de vacaciones para el próximo temporal es importante que las personas estén al pendiente de verificar que no se queden conectados este tipo de aparatos o en su defecto dejen veladoras encendidas porque generalmente eso es lo que ocasiona este tipo de incidentes en esta temporada en donde esperan un repunte en el número de llamados de emergencia.
