Fueron redoblados los filtros sanitarios para evitar la expedición de carne contaminada y que no se vea afectada la salud de la población. Durante el periodo de calor es común que se registren cuadros de enfermedades gastrointestinales como consecuencia de que se consumen productos en mal estado.
“Buscamos descartar que los productos cárnicos que son expedidos en el Rastro Municipal no presenten ese problema y para ello contaremos con la revisión de médicos veterinarios que serán los encargados de verificar la salud de los animales que ingresan para el sacrificio”, informó Alejandro Fuentes Tejeda, administrador del rastro municipal.
Comentó que hasta la fecha no se ha presentado ningún caso de reses con tuberculosis y es una muestra de que también los ganaderos han hecho su papel en el sentido de tener un mayor control sobre las crías para que no tengan problemas en el momento de los sacrificios.
“Un animal enfermo representa una pérdida para el ganadero y por ello es que han decidido adoptar las medidas sanitarias respectivas para que en el momento del sacrificio obtengan una ganancia que de alguna manera representa un respiro económico, si se toma en consideración que son tiempos complicados”, dijo.
Recomendó a las personas verificar la carne expedida en las tablajerías antes de consumirla, la cual lleva un sello por parte de la Secretaría de Salud y también por parte del Rastro Municipal que son las insignias de garantía para decir que la carne no se encuentra contaminada.
“Nosotros por nuestra cuenta insistimos en las comunidades para que se abstengan de hacer sacrificios traspatio, ya que la carne adquiere microbios y bacterias que pueden ser dañinos para la salud de las personas al tener contacto la carne con el suelo y que es una situación que en el rastro evitamos porque el sacrificio se hace en forma aérea”, concluyó.
