– Ante desfogue controlado de presa de Urepetiro; está al 129 por ciento de su capacidad

Elementos del Sistema de Agua Potable y Alcantarillado de Zamora (SAPAZ) y la coordinación municipal de Protección Civil reforzaron la noche de ayer y hoy por la mañana con una costalera las márgenes del Río Duero para evitar que se desborde el afluente nuevamente a la altura del Puente de Tubos y rumbo a la colonia La Libertad. El objetivo es que no se vuelvan a encharcar las personas de dicho asentamiento.
Así lo dio a conocer Daniel Martínez Mora, coordinador municipal de protección civil, comentó que lo anterior se desprende de los desfogues controlados que vienen desde la presa de Urepetiro que se encuentra actualmente al 129 por ciento de su capacidad derivado de las lluvias que han caído durante los últimos días en Zamora y los municipios de la región, principalmente para Tlazazalca.
“Ayer se hizo la liberación de aguas por la noche y hoy estamos con la recepción del líquido. Ningún particular hizo las labores de la costalera más que los elementos de las dependencias mencionadas ante el aviso que recibimos de la CONAGUA para llevar a cabo estas maniobras preventivas que hoy nos permiten tener un control de la situación en este punto”, dijo.
Mencionó que por el momento se mantiene la inspección permanente en las márgenes del Río Duero y aseguró que con los costales que fueron colocados no hay riesgo de desborde porque precisamente se hizo un cálculo de hasta donde podría llegar el nivel del agua. De cualquier manera, estarán al pendiente de actuar de manera reactiva en el caso de ser necesario.
“Esperamos que el nivel del agua baje durante las próximas horas y que de esta manera se eviten situaciones extraordinarias, pero la situación se encuentra controlada debido a la coordinación que hemos establecido entre diferentes dependencias municipales y también estatales para hacerle frente a la situación”, añadió.
