-“Nunca te rindas, no sabes cuando tendrás la oportunidad en tus manos”: Malagón

La tarde de este lunes, en el auditorio de la Unidad Deportiva “El Chamizal”, recibió un homenaje el portero zamorano Luís Ángel Malagón por parte de las autoridades municipales encabezadas por Rocío Soto Delgado, presidenta del DIF Zamora, Rosa Alicia Álvarez, directora municipal de deportes y Felipe Umaña Melo, Secretario del Ayuntamiento.
Luis Ángel Malagón, quien fue portero de la Selección Mexicana de futbol en los juegos olímpicos de Tokio en 2020 y además integra el equipo Club Necaxa de la primera división profesional en la Liga Mx, emocionado recibió además un reconocimiento.
Actualmente, a sus 24 años, es el portero titular del Necaxa. En el evento se reunieron cientos de niños apasionados del balompié, donde Malagón les dijo que deben luchar por sus sueños, “sean personas de bien, nunca se olviden de sus padres, debemos ser agradecidos con la gente que nos tiende la mano: padres, entrenadores, técnicos, etcétera. Nunca se rindan porque no saben cuando tendrán la oportunidad en sus manos”.
Felipe Armando Umaña Melo, secretario del ayuntamiento, dijo convencido, “la parte más importante del juego es la oportunidad de jugar. Cuando era pequeño buscamos aquella calle más sola o el rincón para poner dos piedritas y ahí con la palomilla de la cuadra iniciábamos una cáscara, a veces ni siquiera con balón, a veces lo hacíamos con los botes tirados, o lo que hubiera, para poder jugar en ese momento y entonces emprender el juego entre los amigos”.
Añadió, “hoy dicen que las calles se tornaron inseguras, desde que los niños dejaron de jugar en ellas. Hoy para este buen gobierno, para el presidente Carlos Soto, una gran prioridad es que los niños se apoderen no solamente de las calles, sino de la ciudad entera, de los campos, de las unidades deportivas y aquellos espacios en los que puedan desarrollarse, ya no son aquellos tiempos, pero lo importante es que tengan mejores oportunidades de jugar”.
Relató una sentencia del comandante William McRaven de las fuerzas especiales: “si quieres cambiar el mundo, comienza por tender tu cama”, pero el funcionario municipal fue más allá al decir “que si quieren cambiar el mundo hagan todas las tareas que les apasionan, todas son importantes, hacerlo con disciplina y constancia para llegar al éxito. El limite lo ponemos nosotros mismos, si está en nuestra mente, lo podemos llevar a la realidad”.
Agregó, “Malagón es un ejemplo de vida, inicio en el Real Zamora en el 2014, paso por diversos equipos, entre ellos las fuerzas básicas del Morelia, el club deportivo Necaxa y finalmente ganó la Medalla de bronce en Tokio 2020”
Rosa Alicia Álvarez Piñones, directora de deportes, expresó, “muy pocos tienen el honor de llegar a una olimpiada. Por lo que escuchar el testimonio de este futbolista exitoso, representa un ejemplo de vida para muchos niños y jóvenes que aspiran a llegar lejos, lo cual requiere de mucho sacrificio para lograr llegar a ser un atleta de alto rendimiento”.
La también mamá del internacional futbolista Rafa Márquez, le dijo a Malagón “sin tus padres no serias nadie, porque ellos hicieron un gran sacrificio para que nunca claudicarán en búsqueda de tus sueños y te lo digo por experiencia. Confió que seguirás brillando en la cancha”. Al tiempo que leyó una breve reseña de Malagón.
También estuvieron presentes los padres del futbolista: Miguel Ángel Malagón López y Araceli Velázquez Salas; así como Mario Méndez, regidor de salud, juventud y deporte; Alejandra Garibay, directora de juventud; Miguel López Mora, coordinador de espacios deportivos y funcionarios del ayuntamiento.
