Con el objetivo de generar conciencia sobre el cuidado animal y el respeto a todas las formas de vida, directivos del Instituto Tecnológico de Estudios Superiores de Zamora (ITESZ) encabezadas por el Lic. Karlo Samaguey, director, realizaron una serie de actividades que van encaminadas a fomentar una cultura del respeto a los animales; así como la reglamentación y las iniciativas que procuran una mejor convivencia entre mascotas, animales de granja y el ser humano.
El evento denominado Concientiza Tec, incluyó conferencias, dinámicas recreativas, charlas informativas, la promoción de la adopción y captación de donaciones en las que hubo una nutrida participación de los alumnos del ITESZ y de las escuelas de nivel básico como el Colegio Vasco de Quiroga.
Los niños y jóvenes también conocieron el proyecto +Kachos que permite el aprovechamiento de los sobrantes de comidas que hay el hogar para preparar croquetas balanceadas, a través de una aplicación presentada por alumnos de Ingeniería en Industrias Alimentarias.
