-Insisten en que licencia para conducir solo debe expedirse a quienes están capacitados

Jóvenes entre 19 a 25 años de edad inciden en 8 de cada 10 accidentes viales que se registran en este municipio. Es así que según datos de Policía y Tránsito cada 20 días se presenta al menos 1 fallecimiento, derivado de las lesiones de gravedad sufridas durante el incidente provocado por la falta de precaución para conducir.
Las causas más comunes de los accidentes son que las personas conducen en estado de ebriedad, que no tienen la capacidad para poder manejar la unidad y que conducen a alta velocidad la unidad, de acuerdo a estadísticas proporcionada por la corporación de seguridad.
Actualmente se presentan un promedio de 52 accidentes viales en el municipio, de los que la mitad obedecen a motociclistas que en el 80 por ciento de los casos no tienen regularizada su unidad y que son los que sufren lesiones de mayor consideración al no tener una protección a diferencia de un automóvil.
“Esas son las causas por las que hemos insistido ante el Gobierno del Estado de que la licencia de conducir no se otorgue a las personas que no están capacitadas para manejar. Enviamos una solicitud formal a Jesús Reyna García, Secretario de Gobierno de la entidad para que sea el Ayuntamiento quien aplique los exámenes de manejo antes de dar el documento”, informó Jorge Zalpa Morales, regidor de vialidad.
Indicó que hay avances importantes en lo que respecta a la solicitud, ya que el Secretario de Gobierno ha dado su aval para que se pueda proceder al respecto. El único paso que hace falta es que la Secretaría de Administración y Finanzas del gobierno estatal valide la petición del Ayuntamiento.
“De lograrlo vamos a evitar que las licencias para conducir sean otorgadas de manera arbitraria, ya que hoy en día las personas pagan por un documento de examen de manejo sin hacerlo y obtienen el permiso de una manera fácil, sin que haya existido una instrucción previa”, dijo.
Para concluir dijo que quienes tengan una licencia para conducir deben tener por lo menos conocimientos básicos sobre la responsabilidad que implica manejar una unidad vehicular; sin embargo, actualmente nadie toma en consideración ese compromiso.
