– Viene etapa del dengue; después seguir con COVID y en calor con enfermedades gastrointestinales

“Los zamoranos tendrán que acostumbrarse a convivir con enfermedades cíclicas. La protección y prevención serán herramientas esenciales durante el año para evitar que la condición física se pueda ver perjudicada y se afecte de manera importante a la población”, puntualizaron los médicos Ramiro Espinoza y Juan Manuel Cortes, tras participar en EL INDEPENDIENTE TV en “Un Punto de Vista Médico”.
Comentaron que con la época de lluvias viene la temporada de dengue y es una situación a la que debe estar atenta la población no solo por el riesgo de ser un paciente con un cuadro clásico, sino también porque se puede desarrollar del tipo hemorrágico al combinarse un serotipo con otro, lo cual puede ocasionar la muerte si no se recibe el tratamiento adecuado.
Mencionaron que después del dengue vendrá nuevamente el descenso de temperaturas y habrá que estar atentos a lo que ocurre con la presentación de casos de COVID e influenza como sucede cada fin de año desde hace casi un cuatrienio. La población tendrá que adoptar nuevamente la prevención para evitar que se disparen los contagios.
“En cuanto a la temporada de calor, sabemos que las infecciones gastrointestinales estuvieron a la orden del día, de manera que los cambios que se deben generar desde este momento son los propios hábitos de higiene y limpieza de las personas desde sus hogares para que no se vea comprometido su estado de salud y se arriesguen a complicaciones”, concluyeron.
